See the world differently

If travel inspires you as much as it inspires us, then Titan is the right choice. This wanderlust, this desire to explore, to broaden our horizons, to journey from ‘here’ to ‘there’ just to enjoy the differentness of ‘there’, is a tradition that goes back thousands of years. And though our world may seem an ever smaller and more familiar place, that just means that today’s travellers have never had it so good! There have never been more comfortable, more convenient and better value opportunities to discover rich tapestries of culture, cuisine to electrify the senses, libraries of legend to excite the imagination and galleries of extraordinary sights to treasure. Out there, there are seas of sand and sugarloaf mountains, islands of fire and forests in the clouds – the only problem is deciding which to see first!

Every year, thousands more travellers choose to experience the world with Titan on our range of award-winning escorted tours and cruise holidays. Like them, we love travel and we respect its traditions. We know the value of expert local
knowledge and the people who can engagingly translate it. We prepare for months to create days of joy. We can make the longest held travel dreams a reality.

Mala Mala and the Best of South Africa
The highlight of this tour for many thousands of Titan clients has been their stay at the unique Mala Mala private reserve. Mala Mala is the oldest private reserve, which has been family owned and run for over 40 years by the Rattray Family and has a reputation as the finest game viewing destination in the world. The Mala Mala private reserve is huge at 33,000 acres, the largest ‘big 5’ reserve in South Africa, offering a variety of habitats from open savannah, dense riparian areas and granite outcrops.

The emphasis at Mala Mala has, and always will be, the safari experience. The expert rangers, who each lead a maximum of 6 clients per safari vehicle, are the key to getting the most out of the game drives, with their unbeatable knowledge of the terrain, flora and fauna. Not only that, but the rangers are also your host during your stay and will take meals with your group in order to be on hand for any questions, and lead the traditional nightly wildlife count in the historic bar.

The wildlife viewing is fantastic and, unlike many other lodges, Mala Mala actually publish their results, which speak for themselves. Over the past 17 years, the data shows that you have a better than 96% chance of seeing every one of the ‘big five’.
