Croatia

Our very own June travelled to Croatia on her own holiday and May and loved it – here’s what she had to say…

Arrived in Split for 3 nights, lovely city. Also did day trip to the Kika National Park which was stunning. You can walk across the boardwalks over streams and watch the cascading waterfalls. A truly beautiful day our finished with a relaxing boat ride.

On the way to Dubrovnik we crossed the border into Bosnia to tie in a visit to Mostar. Wonderful old town with lots of history attached. Continued onto our base for 4 nights just a few kilometres outside the old city of Dubrovnik on the Babinkuk Peninsula. A lovely haven at the end of a day of sightseeing and you can hop on a bus which will take you into the old town in 10 minutes. Finished off the week with a lovely short boat ride to Cartat and a day trip into beautiful Montenegro.

The only regret is not having visited this beautiful area before. You won’t be disappointed.
