The invitation to visit the Red Sea for a few days accompanied by an encouraging “you’ll love it, when you enter the water there are all kinds of colourful fish swimming around you” came on a very rainy, dull day. Instantly four exciting words came to mind “SUN, HEAT, WARM SEAS!” Before I got home I had already started packing !

I have been in search of Paddington Bear in deepest darkest Peru of course he’s here in the UK with the Browns’. What I did find though was a fabulous diverse country with heaps of History and of course the famous Inca trail.
We arrived in Lima, which is a big City on the edge of the sea, the City has a lot of History and plenty of restaurants and open spaces, and we stayed in the Miraflores area, which takes approx 45mins from the airport.
A flight to Cusco, set high in the Andes mountains, it has the most beautiful old Spa...

I never thought I’d say it but I want to go back!
I have just spent 2nts with Regent Holidays in the most amazing place I have ever visited. Iceland has so much to offer. Of course if you want sunshine, beaches and exotic open air restaurants then I wouldn’t recommend it but if you want the thrill of off road jeep safaris, amazing waterfalls, geo-thermal springs and what I just can’t get...
